Orion, Ill. — “Orion, Illinois, is not thought often of as being a trendsetting, fad-embracing community,” said Deb Ford, executive director of Main Street Orion.
But on Saturday, Oct. 20, Orion will make Illinois only the eighth state to have an official Lovescape Location, Ford said. Orion will have the only Love Locks display in the Midwest. A Lovescape Location is an official public fixture where people can place a padlock, symbolically declaring and locking in love forever, Ford said.
