With all the negative focus due to the ‘No Love Locks’ petition we are very excited to hear the Council bosses say they were surprised to see that couples have placed “love locks” on Boston’s new footbridge but they say they are happy to leave them there for now. Last week it emerged that four locks had already been placed on the £750,000 St Botolph’s Bridge, which opened in February and spans the Haven between the police station and Stump. I am sure couples, families and friends will be over joyed to be able to participate in this wonderful tradition of “locking your love”. It won’t be long until the St Botolph’s Bridge will be filled with many gestures of LOVE! Thanks for sharing the love!
